Become a Founding Member
Step 1: Become a member
Create your account. The membership is what keeps the place running, which is why there are no booking fees and no commission on swaps.

Step 2: Create your home listing
Tell members about the home you're willing to swap. Photos do more work than anything else you write, and honest ones do better than flattering ones.

Step 3: Search
Look for homes in places you'd actually like to visit. Filter by the things that decide whether a home works for your trip.

Step 4: Contact the homeowner
Send a private message. Say who you are, roughly when you're thinking of travelling, and what you like about their home.

Step 5: Arrange your swap
Work out dates and details between you. You both know your own plans better than any matching system would.

You stay in their home. They stay in yours. No points change hands, and neither of you pays the other a nightly rate.

Why there's no calendar
Availability calendars go stale the moment your plans change, and they push people into a booking mindset. Two homeowners messaging each other sort out dates in a couple of replies. We may add more tools later, but only if they make swapping simpler rather than more complicated.
What Home Swap Club does and doesn't do
We introduce homeowners and give them a private way to talk. Any swap is arranged directly between members on terms you agree between yourselves. We are not a party to your swap and we don’t guarantee that one will happen. Please read our safety guidance before you travel.
