Roughly where: Ten minutes' walk from the old town and the lake path
[DEMO DATA: fictional] A bright three-bedroom apartment a short walk from Lake Annecy. Big windows across the front let the morning light in, and there's a small balcony where we eat breakfast most of the summer. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a proper desk if you need to work, and the sofa is genuinely comfortable. The building is quiet, mostly families and a couple of retired neighbours who keep an eye on everything.
[DEMO DATA: fictional] The lake path is right there, so you can cycle the whole way round in an afternoon. The Thursday market in the old town is worth planning your week around. In winter, three ski areas are under an hour by car.
